Redirect visitors after registering with WordPress

Here lies the most important section of this add-on, which many people are looking for and did not find a solution for. In this option, you can automatically direct the user to one of the following options:

  • to profile
  • To the home page of your site
  • to a custom link
  • Or reload the page that the user logged in without going anywhere else

Now, assuming that you are using the Waucommerce extension and you have a store, and you want the visitor to go immediately to the cart or the order page after registering on the site.. You can here enter a custom link, and paste the link of the page you want to direct it to.

All of the above options are also applied in the new user registration form

Block access to the default registration form in WordPress

What I mean by this is to block access to wp-admin when someone tries to log into the site using the default form…

Here you need to use the php code, you can paste it in the functions.php file within the theme folder .

 Using the php code, you can paste it into the functions.php file in the theme folder.

php code to block access to the default wordpress registration form

Delete the link in the code and replace it with the registration link on your site, don’t forget!!

add_action('init','custom_login');
function custom_login(){
 global $pagenow;
 if( 'wp-login.php' == $pagenow ) {
  wp_redirect('https://www.wpmrj3.com/login/');
  exit();
 }
}

Proper use of the WordPress membership plugin with WooCommerce

It is known that in adding the store and woocommerce, there is only a page to log in, and there is no page to register a new user, so it is good to use this add-on for memberships with the addition of woocommerce, and to do this follow the following steps in order:

1- Go to the Forms section, and click on the login form.. Then in the Options section by choosing Redirect the user to a custom link, paste the account page link to add WooCommerce

2- Also go to the Membership Addition Forms section, and then create a new user registration form, and apply the custom settings, then choose the default rank of the member is customer

Use the add-on properly with WooCookers

3- Now go to the Pages section of the WordPress dashboard, and click on Edit account page as well as the order completion page in WooCommerce, and apply the settings as you see in the following image:

Wookookers account page

The lesson from the last step is to use the registration and login forms from the addition of the Ultimate member and not from the addition of the Wacomers, and thus the login form will not appear in the customer’s account from the addition of the Wacomers, but only the login form from the addition of the Ultimate member.

The last step is to go to add the Ultimate member, (it is not necessary but to avoid problems in the sites that need to log in only in order to purchase) click on the member ranks option, edit the customer rank as shown:

Member ranks option, edit the Customer rank as shown:

A final note to understand a few things:

Adding the Ultimate member creates a form for the user and account page, you can either delete this page or use the extension to redirect links so that if this page appears to the user, you will automatically redirect him to the WooCommerce account page. So that there are no two account pages on the site. ( my choice).

Now the educational course in customizing and designing the login page and memberships in WordPress has ended professionally
