In this tutorial, I will explain how to add your site to Google Analytics as well as to Google Search Console.

The first thing you need is a valid Gmail address, a valid website URL which is alive too, you need to create an account in Google Search Console from here.

Once you go to the clear URL, click Write your website URL or domain name and click Verify

The next step is to copy the code that Google gave you and now go to cPanel and Zone Editor and click on them

In the Zone Editor, find your domain name and click Manage

Then here you need to make a new record. Add New Record

  • Name: Enter the domain address
  • Type : TXT
  • Record: Type the code you got from Google

Click Add History, save everything, and then go back to Google Search Console and the Check Clock.

Now you might say that Google can’t verify your site, that’s fine.. it takes a while.. try to go back to Google Search Console again in an hour and everything will be fine

Click Next and choose Web and click Next

Write the main information

Once done, click Next and it will redirect you to your Google Analytics account.

Paste the verification code in the Header.php file in the theme folder of your website

Now you will see your verification code which you need to copy now and go back to cPanel or WordPress dashboard

  • Public Html >> Wp-content >> Themes >> Your Theme Folder >> Header.php

Now in the Header.php file you have to search for the HTML tag and paste the code just before this tag.
